Repairing the Climate Control Controls

By pressing the AUTO and OFF buttons on the climate control simultaneously, you can receive a response regarding the climate control fault code (this is a sort of self-diagnosis) which in this case refers to the actuator motor for the air distribution flaps (it often happens that the plastic gears become damaged).
To access these motors, you need to remove the glove compartment and the side cover of the centre console. Once the motors are disassembled, you can repair or replace the electric actuator motor and then reinstall them. Additionally, it is recommended to replace the plastic control lever with the steel one available in the repair kit.
