Saab 9 5 - Video tutorial

Model: Saab 9 5 MK 1, Ys3e - Years 1997-2010
Part: Gear oil
Operation: Changing the gear oil

In this tutorial, the gearbox oil is replaced on a Saab 9 5. Once the gear oil pan under the car has been identified, with a 24 mm wrench, we unscrew the cap: the liquid that must be collected will come out in a basin. The cap, if in good condition, can be cleaned and reused. Replace the sealing washer and screw the cap back on. Clean the area surrounding the cap with a rag and then tighten it (do not overdo it as its thread is rather delicate). Remove the dipstick and add the required amount of transmission oil (in this case 3.9 liters). Clean the area around the upper mouth of the cup and reinsert the dipstick.

How do you open the fuel flap of the Volkswagen Golf 5?

In order to open the fuel flap of the Volkswagen Golf 5, you need to press the appropriate button inside the passenger compartment, which is located in the rear part of the glove box on the driver's door. By pressing the button, the flap will unlock and it will then be possible to open it manually. Once the flap has been opened, the fuel tank access cap must be unscrewed. To close everything again, it will be sufficient to screw the tank cap again; subsequently, the flap must also be closed, pressing it so that it fits thanks to its locking mechanism.
