In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the rear seats from a Saab 9-3, a very simple operation. For this, you will only need a long flat screwdriver and an 18mm socket.

Start by removing the seat base by levering on both indicated clips, then extract the clips and unscrew the central fixing bolt. Next, locate the two side pins, press them down using the screwdriver, and disengage them from their respective housing.

At this point, you can remove the backrests from the vehicle and install any replacements by following the reverse procedure.
