In this tutorial, see how to adjust the handbrake on a Seat Ibiza, a very simple and quick operation. First, park the vehicle on a perfectly level surface, then pull the handbrake lever to its maximum position and go to the rear seat.

Next, remove the cover from the rear of the centre tunnel, locate the adjustment nut, and using a long 10mm socket, tighten it until you reach the desired tension level. Finally, reassemble everything and test the brake under various incline conditions.
