To adjust the handbrake on the Seat Ibiza, detach the plastic cover located at the rear of the handbrake, corresponding to the centre tunnel. Once this cover is removed, access the underlying components: tighten the handbrake by turning the screw located in this position, or loosen the handbrake by loosening the screw. When the handbrake is properly adjusted, refit the plastic cover that was removed earlier.
