In this tutorial we can see how to reset the engine malfunction light in the Seat Ibiza, a very simple and quick operation, to be carried out only once the problem causing its activation has been resolved. To do this, we will also need the specific scanner shown in the video, available online. First of all, we connect the device to the OBD socket located in the lower left area of the dashboard, then we interface it with the vehicle and go to the section related to the errors recorded by the control unit. To read the cause of the light turning on, simply go to "Read fault code", while to clear it just select "Clear fault code".

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
