Let's see this practical guide to repair the lock unlock switch on the door compartment of a Seat Toledo (but also Altea and Leon): the specific problem is that the button gets stuck but does not unlock. The problem is caused by condensation and moisture that seeps into the switch, corroding the contacts on the small internal electronic board: it is a common fault in many cars of the V.A.G. group. With a thin screwdriver, gently remove the switch from its seat in the door panel, then disconnect the electrical connector; always with the screwdriver, open the plastic case of the switch and separate the two parts. Inside we will find a small electronic board, which will probably be dirty and wet or with oxidation residues: take a cotton swab and carefully clean the entire board, removing any traces of moisture and oxidation, then reassemble the switch; reconnect the electrical connector and test the operation. If everything is fine, we can reinsert the switch.
