How to Set Seat Altea Wipers in Service Position

In this video, see how to set the wipers of the Seat Altea in service position for maintenance: turn on the ignition and then turn it off immediately, but without removing the key. Press the right wiper lever down once (the one for a single sweep). Now the wipers will be locked in a vertical position, making them easy to reach. To return them to normal position, turn the ignition back on, press the right wiper lever again, and the wipers will return to the rest position (at the sides of the windscreen).
