How to Reset the Service Light on a 2022 Seat Ateca

Let's see how to reset the service light on a Seat Ateca: turn on the instrument cluster, and from the infotainment system go to the settings menu and look for the "maintenance" option. Here, look for "select reset service data," which you confirm with "yes" or "ok." If your version does not have a multimedia screen, you can perform the procedure from the onboard computer using the buttons on the steering wheel: open the driver's door. Press and hold the "menu" button and, while holding it, turn on the ignition. The service menu will appear, and you can release the buttons. Use the arrow buttons to navigate to "reset service data" and confirm. As shown in the video, you will see two service entries (typical of the Volkswagen group): "oil service" which pertains only to oil and filters with a one-year interval; "inspection service" which is the most important service where filters, spark plugs, brake fluid, etc., are changed and is done every two years. Ensure you reset the correct service!
