How to Replace the Brake Pedal Switch on a Seat Altea

Have you encountered issues with the brake pedal switch on your Seat Altea? Here’s how to remove and replace the part. Open the inspection hatch at the bottom left of the dashboard (if present). Reach in and locate the brake pedal switch (from underneath the brake pedal). Press the switch until the connector pops out, then disconnect it from the power cable. Install the new brake switch: first connect the plug to the switch, then insert it into the housing. Finally, test the correct operation of the brake.
