Removing the Gear Knob on a Seat Leon

Model: Seat Leon 1P - Years 2005-2013

To remove the gear knob on a Seat Leon, replace the knob if damaged along with the cover gaiter. Unlock the gaiter frame and lift it upwards. Remove the metal tab that secures the knob. Rotate the knob left and right until you can remove it from the gear lever. Take the new knob and slide it onto the lever in the centre console until it is secured, lock the metal tab, and cover everything with the gaiter. Test the movement of the lever in the centre console and verify the correct fitting of the parts.
