Stop Switch Replacement on Seat Ibiza

Model: Seat Ibiza 6L - Years 2002-2009

Access the driver's side in the pedal area. You will notice, above the brake pedal, the switch (usually coloured and therefore easily visible) that sends the signal to activate the brake lights when you brake. To access it, unscrew the two screws holding the plastic cover above the pedal area. Use a wedge to remove this plate. To extract the switch, you need to rotate it to release the tip from the housing, then disconnect the connector and you're done. Very simple! Proceed in reverse to install the new switch.
