How to Remove the Steering Wheel from a Seat Altea

Before you can start, sit in the driver’s seat of your Seat Altea. Begin by turning the steering wheel ninety degrees to the right.

Next, unscrew and remove the rear screws that secure the airbag to the steering wheel. At this point, you can extract the airbag and disconnect the relevant connector.

This will give you access to the central screw that secures the steering wheel to the steering column. Proceed by unscrewing and removing this screw.

Once you complete this step, you can remove the steering wheel, and the disassembly will be finished.
