Replacing the Key Battery on a Seat Leon

Model: Seat Leon MK 3, 5F - Years 2012-2019

Press the designated button that releases the manual key and, using leverage in the space left by it, remove the cover. Voila! In front of you, you will now have the sought-after battery, which is a CR2025. To extract it, pry in the small slot next to the battery, lifting it from its seat: use a small flat screwdriver or any sharp tool (the tip of scissors or a cutter will do). Insert the new 3-volt battery you purchased (from a hardware store or a large supermarket) and close the casing.
