How to replace the Seat Altea car stereo

Model: Seat Altea MK 1 - Years 2004-2015
Part: Car stereo

To change the car radio of the Seat Altea we proceed as follows: we start by putting the clips to remove the car radio in the slots in the car radio (if they do not fit we widen the plastic with a small screwdriver), we insert them all the way, widening the clips towards the 'external, we extract the car radio, disconnect the various connectors, take the connectors / plugs of the new car radio, connect them to the original connectors / plugs of the car, the latter connect them to the new car radio (the lfb adapter with jack socket from 3.5 mm is included only with can-bus interfaces with lfb control), we send the wires inside and insert the new car radio in its seat. Now the programming takes place between the steering wheel controls and the radio: We turn on the instrument panel, press and hold the reset button: the LED flashes red, then green and turns off, press volume + on the steering wheel (5 times), the LED then it flashes green 6 times, confirm with the mode button on the steering wheel, the LED from now on must turn green and we can turn off the ignition. We install the new car stereo in its place and we can try the new car stereo.
