How to reset the Service light on the Seat Altea?

Model: Seat Altea MK 1 - Years 2004-2015
Part: Service warning light

To reset the Service light on the Seat Altea, press and hold the button in the centre of the instrument cluster while it is off. Continue holding the button, then insert the ignition key into the ignition switch. Turn the key and release the button after a few seconds, then turn it to the left. You will notice that the Service light has been successfully reset; after the reset, turn off and then turn on the cluster to confirm that the reset was successful.
