How to Remove the Headlight Switch on a Seat Without Tools

In this video, you will learn how to remove the headlight switch on a Seat without using tools. Simply turn the switch to the daytime running lights position, then apply a gentle but firm pressure towards you on the lever to remove the entire cylinder with ease. Be cautious, as there are wires connected at the back; place one hand under the cylinder carefully. At the end of the cylinder, there is a barcode with a number underneath. This is the part number, which will be useful if you need to reorder it. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry upwards on both sides to disconnect the electrical connector. Check that the contacts on the electrical plug are in order. If they are, simply reorder the part and refit it to repair the fault. Reinsert the part in its place, and now everything works.
