Replacing the Door Lock on a Skoda Fabia

Model: Skoda Fabia 6Y, Mark1 - Years 1999-2007

If the door lock is damaged or has been forced during a break-in attempt, it can be easily replaced. You will need to decide whether to buy a new lock with a new key or order an original one with the same combination as the original key. The replacement is simple; once the door is open, locate the hole on the inner side of the door at the lock's position, insert a Torx key to loosen the retaining screw of the lock, remove the old one, and insert the new lock, securing it by tightening the screw.
