How to remove the rear seats of the Skoda Octavia

Model: Skoda Octavia MK 3, 5E - Years 2012-2019
Part: Seat

In this short guide, we will see how to disassemble and eventually replace the rear seats (bench and backrest) of the Skoda Octavia. First, we open the rear doors of the car and start removing the isofix attachments; then we pull the rear bench upwards to detach and remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, we unscrew all the fixing screws found at the bottom of the backrests, removing them; we clean or replace the rear seats if necessary, applying the reverse procedure for reassembly!

How to Open a Stuck Boot on the Peugeot 407?

On the Peugeot 407, the boot may become stuck, possibly due to a problem with the control button or the lock actuator. In such cases, you can perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial. First, open the rear doors, then lower the seat back by operating the release lever. Next, go inside the boot, locate the lock, and manually operate it using a flathead screwdriver. The boot will then be free to open.
