How to interpret the maintenance alerts of the Skoda Fabia

Let's see how to interpret maintenance alerts on a Skoda (Fabia as in the video, but in general on all Skodas). When you start the car, a message appears saying "inspection due within x days" or "service oil". "Inspection" means the general periodic check, so brakes, fluids, systems. "Oil change" specifically refers to the replacement of the engine oil. To check the deadlines from the car menu, turn on the infotainment, press the car icon on the screen, select "vehicle menu"/"service" and you will find the two main items: "inspection" with expiration in km or days, "oil change" with expiration in km or days. If the inspection (which also includes the oil change) expires before the oil change, then the oil change is no longer necessary. After the operation, a reset must be done by going to "service"/"settings"/"reset service data" and confirming the change.
