How to reset the service light on the Skoda Fabia

Let's see how to reset the service light on the Skoda Fabia. Insert the key into the ignition without turning anything on and press and hold the "0.0" button on the dashboard. While still holding the button, turn on the ignition and, once the ignition is on, release the button. Now press the adjacent button, the "menu" button. The display will now show the reset message and the service light will turn off: this will set the new interval (expressed in days and miles). Before the reset, the display shows numbers: specifically, 99-99 indicates 99 days overdue for the scheduled service; 38 indicates the excess miles beyond the programmed limit.
