Before starting the engine oil change in a Skoda Fabia 2, it is advisable to use a pre-change cleaner, adding it after the car has been running for about 5 minutes. After this step, you must immediately change the oil as it is not safe to drive with the cleaner in the tank. Therefore, lift the car and drain the oil sump by unscrewing the drain plug after placing a container underneath, then replace the plug and lower the car. Also, replace the filter located in the engine bay. The last step is to add new engine oil through the designated filler in the engine bay.
