How to Reset the Service Light on the Skoda Fabia 1

Model: Skoda Fabia 6Y, Mark1 - Years 1999-2007

The following video tutorial shows how to independently reset the service light on a Skoda Fabia model 1. To reset the light, press the TRIP A button located on the right side of the instrument cluster. While holding the button, the display will activate showing the kilometre option; rotate the button to update the kilometres to the next service. At the end of the reset procedure, you can restart the instrument cluster. If the light does not reset, it will be necessary to go to an authorised workshop for a diagnosis via OBD port and diagnostic computer; the main cause of the failure to reset may be attributed to a malfunctioning oil level sensor.
