How to Reset the Service Light on a Skoda Octavia

To reset the maintenance warning on a Skoda Octavia Mk2, ensure the instrument panel is off. Press and hold the button used for resetting the trip odometer, then insert the key and turn the ignition on without starting the vehicle. After a few moments, a confirmation request for resetting the maintenance interval will appear on the display. Release the button and use the knob or button on the instrument panel, depending on the version of the car, to confirm the operation. Once the reset is complete, switch off the ignition, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on to check that the service indicator is no longer displayed and that the new maintenance interval has been recorded correctly.
