Replacing the Diesel Filter on a Skoda Fabia

Model: Skoda Fabia Mark2, 5J - Years 2007-2014

Open the bonnet and prop it up with the support rod. Facing the cabin, locate the diesel filter: it is the small cylindrical casing connected to the engine bay by two pipes, which are the supply and return lines. To remove the two pipes, simply pull them off the connector using a suitable pair of pliers (before doing this, for more space, remove the cover of the engine bay). At this point, you can already take out the diesel filter. I recommend preparing a container to place it in, as it will obviously be quite oily. Insert the new filter and connect the two pipes: nothing could be easier!

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
