Skoda Fabia - Video tutorial

Model: Skoda Fabia 6Y, Mark1 - Years 1999-2007
Part: Bushings
Operation: Replacement of front swinging arm bushings

The breaking of the bushings (silent blok) of the front suspensions is a fairly recurring defect in these cars, making the movement on the bumpy particularly noisy and also compromising the seal: luckily it is possible to buy the bushings only for repair without having to replace the entire support. Once the old bushing has been removed (it is usually better to make a longitudinal cut to the outer sleeve of the bushing so that it can shrink and come out more easily), insert the new one using a threaded rod and washers to position it in the seat.
