The failure of the bushes (silent block) in the front suspension is a common issue in these vehicles, making the ride on uneven surfaces particularly noisy and compromising handling. Fortunately, it is possible to purchase just the bushes for repair without having to replace the entire support. Once the old bush is removed (it is usually advisable to make a longitudinal cut in the outer sleeve of the bush so that it can shrink and come out more easily), insert the new one using a threaded rod and washers to position it in place.
