Operation: Front wheel bearing replacement

Raise the car on a lift and remove the front wheel, the brake calliper, the relative support and the disc. In order to replace the hub bearing on board the car, without disassembling the hub itself, special tools are required to be able to extract and reinsert the bearing (otherwise disassemble the hub and carry out the operation with a press). Block rotation of the hub and unscrew the central fixing nut of the axle shaft; apply the hydraulic extractor to extract the drive shaft and then the pull hammer to extract the hub; then release the bearing fastening front seeger, re-apply the hydraulic extractor with the special bushings to extract it and remove the rear seeger. In the same way, insert the new rear seeger, the bearing and the front seeger. Then use the special extractor to remove the bearing ring which has remained on the hub axis and reassemble the latter in its seat. Finally, reassemble the drive shaft, disc, support, caliper and wheel.
