In this video tutorial we will see how to replace the shock absorber bearing of a second series Skoda Superb. First we lift the car and remove its wheel: then we remove the bolt of our axle shaft in order to disconnect it from the braking system. At this point we are going to remove the upper shock absorber bolt, accessing it from the engine compartment, using a 13 mm socket wrench; once unscrewed we go to disconnect it from the bottom and extract it. Now we compress the spring in order to disassemble the shock absorber and extract the bearing, as shown in the video.
