Remove the Instrument Cluster on Skoda Octavia

Today, learn how to remove the analogue instrument cluster on a Skoda, specifically on the Skoda Octavia. This is a medium-level maintenance task. Remove the plastic cover beneath the instrument cluster by simply pulling it off, then undo the two lower screws that secure the cluster. At this point, use a lever or a plastic screwdriver (NOT METAL, and do not use a bank card as shown in the video) to gently pry in the limited space between the instrument cluster and the dashboard. Carefully perform this operation, prying along the entire length, until it starts to detach slowly, allowing you to pull it away. Disconnect the cables before complete removal.
