Replace Key Battery on Superb

Is the battery in your Superb key dead? Let's look at how to disassemble the key and replace the battery. Take your remote and press the metal key release button, then use a screwdriver to pry between the two plastic parts (in the space where the metal key fits). Pry until the key cover pops open. Remove the worn battery with a small screwdriver, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the plastic cover over the key after replacing the components.
