Removing the Electric Fuel Pump on a Skoda Octavia

Is the fuel pump not working anymore? Here’s how to remove the pump from inside the tank. To find the fuel pump, you need to remove the rear seat cushions: take out the rear seats of the car. You will find a metal cover to access the fuel tank located under the car's floor. Unscrew the retaining screws of the metal cover with a socket wrench and remove it from its housing. Disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation hoses, then unscrew the plastic nut that secures the fuel pump. Replace the damaged pump with a new one of the same model.
