In this guide, discover the steps to dismantle and replace the battery of the key remote on the Skoda Octavia second series, as well as on the Superb. First, take the remote in hand and pry open the sides to remove the lower part of the remote, allowing access to the circuit board and battery; then extract the battery and replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V). Finally, insert it in the correct orientation and reassemble everything, applying the reverse procedure!
