Below is a simple yet effective method that will allow you to replace the battery of your Skoda Octavia Mk3 key in seconds and without any difficulty. The first step is to release the physical key to expose the area underneath.

Next, using a standard flat screwdriver, remove the rear cover to access the used battery. At this point, simply remove the old battery and replace it with a new battery that is fully compatible with your key model.

Finally, refit the rear cover.
