In today's video, you will see how to replace the battery in the remote of the Skoda Karoq. This type of key is also used by other models in the Volkswagen group (including Skoda, Seat, and Audi). We will specifically deal with the remote that has a retractable key, so not keyless.

The operation is quite simple, as you will need to turn the key over and detach the cover that conceals the battery itself. Specifically, it is a CR 2032 3V battery.

Use a screwdriver to extract the battery from its housing and replace it with a new one. You can now test it.
