Operation: How to replace the rear light on a Skoda Octavia.

In this short video tutorial today, we will see how to replace the rear light of a second-generation Skoda Octavia, a model produced from 2004 to 2012. To remove the old rear light, we must first open the trunk of the vehicle. Then, we remove the upholstery panels located on the sides of the trunk, as shown in the video. Once this is done, we can disconnect the connector of the light and start unscrewing the four screws that hold the light in place using an 8mm wrench. Finally, we can remove the light and then install a new one by following the reverse procedure.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
