How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter of the Smart

In the model we will discuss today, the cabin air filter is located under the dashboard and steering column in front of the driver's seat, next to the accelerator pedal. First, remove the protective panel secured by two clips; you won't need any tools to remove the cover.

Once removed, you can extract the filter, taking care to note the direction of extraction, as it must be the same when you refit it. Now, reposition the new filter and the cover.
