To replace the windscreen wiper blades on a Smart, lift the arms that control their movement so that the blades are not in contact with the windscreen: once they are lifted, tilt the blades relative to the arms. This will allow you to detach the corresponding clips that secure the blades to their housing: by doing this, you can position the new ones on the arms, securing them with the appropriate clips and repositioning them on the windscreen.

This will allow you to verify their correct operation.
