How to Remove and Replace the Spark Plugs on Your Smart Fortwo

Do you want to remove and replace the spark plugs on your Smart Fortwo? Let's go through the process in detail: open the boot/engine compartment, lift the engine cover panel as shown in the video. Remove the metal engine cover, then use a socket spanner to unscrew the securing bolts of the coils. Grip the coil with your hands and twist it to extract it from the cylinder head. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the spark plugs (remove them from the cylinder head) and take the new spark plug, inserting it into the cylinder head with the socket spanner. Finally, refit the plastic cylinder head cover panel.
