Air filter replacement for Smart Fortwo 451

To replace the air filter that feeds the engine of the Smart Fortwo, we open the rear hatch in its two parts, turn the locking screw of the lower panel of the cargo compartment and remove it. We find the filter on the driver's side, loosen the air duct clamps and slide it out, unhook the three metal clips of the cover and remove it by sliding it to the right. We remove the old filter, vacuum the inside and insert the new filter element, put back the cover and lock it, insert the tube and tighten its clamps. Put back the partition and lock it with the screw.
