Replacement of the turn signal lamp of the Smart 451

If the side turn signal bulb of the Smart 451 were to burn out, we will replace it as soon as possible to be able to drive without incurring fines. To do this, we remove, with the help of a blade screwdriver, the indicator gem from the side towards the front and, using force with our fingers, we remove it from its seat. Holding the connector steady, we rotate the gem a quarter turn and remove it. We remove the old bulb and install a new one, insert the transparent body again and lock it by rotating it, insert it into its housing and push it until it locks.

Lift the car on a column lift and (at your preferred height) use a socket wrench to unscrew the sump plug, allowing the oil to drain into a container (for disposal) and then re-screw the plug.
