The method applied and shown in the attached video, valid not only for the Smart Fortwo but for any car, serves exactly what is requested, that is, to disable the anti-theft system. What does it consist of? Simple, once the module that manages the aforementioned anti-theft system is identified, it is bypassed, in practice the two wires that communicate activation and deactivation are bridged, so a signal will always be provided to the vehicle's ECU. Of course, a bit of skill is required and it should be remembered that this kind of intervention is purely for maintenance purposes, it is not recommended to keep this modification permanently.
