How to replace the timing belt of the Smart Fortwo

Today we will explain how to replace the timing belt of the Smart Fortwo in a simple and fast way. To perform the replacement of the belt, we need to loosen the pulley and the tensioner roller in order to easily remove the belt. After removing the piece, grease the new belt and place it inside the gears. Tighten the pulley and the tensioner roller to position the belt correctly. Lower the vehicle to the ground and start the engine to check that the replacement has been successful. The timing belt replacement should be done at 60,000 km.
