In this guide, we will see the main instructions that will allow us to disassemble and replace the external handle cable of the Smart Fortwo. First, we open the front door and start disassembling and removing the door panel, removing the various plastic covers and unscrewing the fixing screws; then we unscrew the screws of the handle located on the side to remove it, disconnecting the electrical connector and removing the handle cable, as shown in the video. At this point, we install the new cable and reassemble all the door elements!

How to Remove the Steering Wheel from a Citroen C3

How do you remove the steering wheel from a Citroen C3? Before removing the steering wheel, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Follow these steps to proceed with the removal: remove the inspection caps at the back of the steering wheel (if present), then, using a socket or screwdriver, undo the screws securing the steering wheel cover (where the airbag is located). Once the airbag (driver's side) is released, disconnect the power connectors and remove it. Using a socket, undo the large central bolt and take the steering wheel off its mount. For reassembly: connect the power connectors, then press the steering wheel with your hands (until it fits into its mount) and subsequently tighten the large bolt.
