Like replacing the engine ventilation filter on a Smart Fortwo: we open the car door (luggage compartment), pull up the metal cover of the engine compartment. We locate the aeration filter; we open the air kit (unscrew the tightening screws), uncover the filter box cap and extract the worn air filter. We insert a new filter in the dedicated housing (making it adhere well around the walls). Finally we reassemble the cap of the air box and tighten the screws. We close the tailgate after maintenance (we mount the metal engine cover.
