How to remove the front hood of the Smart

Given that the Smart's engine is located at the rear, the coolant tank of the engine, the tank for the washer fluid and the valves for refilling the air conditioning gas are located in the front; therefore, if you have to top up the liquids or top up the air conditioning, you must remove the front hood, which is nothing more than a cover fairing fixed by interlocking; to be able to remove the hood, first disarm the fastening safety devices located at the ends of the grille of the front bezel: once the safety devices are open, lift the hood and remove it forwards by sliding it into the relative guides.
