How to open the front hood of the Smart Fortwo for maintenance and topping up? Let's see how to proceed with maintenance. We open the plastic levers placed on the sides of the front grille. Once the locks on the front are released, push the hood panel downwards with your hands; let's detach it from the bodywork as shown in the video. Once the part is removed, we carry out maintenance on our car. To proceed with the assembly: we fix the plastic coating on the front of the nose with our hands and then slide it upwards. Finally we close the lock levers of the front hood.
