Need to open the bonnet of a Smart Fortwo for maintenance? Let’s see how to proceed in this video. Pull the plastic levers located on either side of the front grille with your hands. Once the catches are released, lift the bonnet slightly and remove it from the vehicle body as shown in the video. After removing the previously mentioned part, perform maintenance on your car. To proceed with reassembly, hold the bonnet above the front of the car and then at the bottom. Finally, close the bonnet release levers (at both ends).
