Remove the Spark Plugs from a Smart Fortwo

Removing the ignition spark plugs from a Smart Fortwo? Here’s how to take them out from the engine bay. Open and lift the engine cover hatch, then remove the bottom cover panel. Unscrew the screws of the coils using a socket spanner (unscrew and remove the screws to detach the coils). Remove the coil and pull it out from the cylinder head. Unscrew the spark plug and extract it from the cylinder head. Install a new spark plug into the cylinder head, secure the coil, and screw in the securing screws (reconnect the electrical terminals). Replace all spark plugs and close the engine cover panel. Test the operation of the Smart's engine.
