How to remove the door panels of the Smart.

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007
Part: Door trim panel

First of all, as every time we have to carry out a maintenance operation on a car, we place our Smart on the deck or on a plane. This precaution is due to the fact that you can work on it in safe and stable conditions. At this point, we use the suitable torx wrench and proceed to unscrew the screws that lock the handle and the pocket in place, present above the panel that we must remove. Now, we can proceed to remove the panel, simply, by levering along the perimeter of the same, using a screwdriver, in order to unlock the clips that hold it in position. This way, that's it! To reassemble it, or to mount a new panel, if necessary, carry out the operations described above in reverse.

Here’s how to remove the front bumper grille on a Ford Focus: using a plastic lever or screwdriver, pry between the bumper plastic and the grille, detach the securing clips located on it. Finally, remove the grille from the centre of the bumper, and compare it with the one that will replace it. To proceed with the installation: secure the grille onto the bumper by engaging the clips (apply pressure with your hands on the grille without breaking it).
