In this short video, you will learn how to replace the battery in the remote control of the New Smart ForTwo 453. The procedure is very simple; prepare a spare 2032 battery and a flathead screwdriver. First, press the button to open the metal key, then insert the flathead screwdriver into the opening point located at the back of the remote and use it to lever and release the shell. At this point, remove the old battery. Before inserting the new battery, check the polarity by aligning the + symbol on the battery with the one on the shell. Reassemble the remote by closing it evenly.
